It’s hard to imagine Berkeley Ave without you. Thank you for being such an amazing teammate, friend, and stylist over the last couple of years. You’ve been a huge part of this salon, and we’re so thankful for everything you’ve brought to our team and your clients.
We already miss you, but we’re so excited for this new adventure in Indiana. They’re getting a good one.
Love you, Meredith, You’ll always have a place at Berkeley Ave. 🤍

Have you ever looked at your hair in one mirror and loved it, then walked outside and thought it looked completely different?
You’re not imagining it.
✨ Lighting, shadows, and even the direction you’re standing can completely change the way your hair color looks. The exact same blonde can appear brighter, warmer, cooler, or darker depending on where you are.
These photos were taken within minutes of each other—same hair, same day, same color. The only thing that changed was the lighting and the angle.
So if you leave the salon and your hair looks a little different in your bathroom mirror later, don’t panic. Give it a chance in different lighting before deciding how you feel about it. 💛
Save this for the next time you think your color has “changed.”

☀️ It’s that time of year again—sunshine, pool days, and SPF.
If you wear hair extensions, not all sunscreens are created equal. Some ingredients can cause discoloration, especially on blonde, gray, or lightened hair.
Here are some of my favorite extension-safe sunscreens and scalp SPF options for summer. Save this post for your next beach day! 🤍✨
